Chapman Students – Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority Raises Money for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)

“KATwalk is a fashion show involving every fraternity and sorority at Chapman, and it is held once a year. All of the money raised from KATwalk goes to the non-profit, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), which provides legal representation to children in foster care so that they can find safe and permanent homes. As fundraising chair for Kappa Alpha Theta at Chapman University, I had the task of raising money for our wonderful philanthropy event, KATwalk. This year, KATwalk’s theme is ‘Superheroes.’ I had to find a superhero to help us raise money, and I found that superhero at Linx,” says Brooke Bierman.

Nick, the general manager of Linx, agreed to help us…Thanks to the generous people at Linx and the supporting community surrounding Chapman, Kappa Alpha Theta was able to raise money to get us closer to our goal. The money raised from the Linx fundraiser will go toward bettering the life of a child. Linx is our hero!

Thank you to everyone at Linx on behalf of our sorority: Kappa Alpha Theta  chapman-students-sorority-linx-restaurant-fundraiser-orange-county-ca
